We designed Bursts to be stand-alone units of study that are excellent options for those who want meaningful options to accelerate academic goals for those wanting to get ahead, extend learning for those who are curious but bored at school, and for those wanting to explore academic interests in a high-quality way.

Bursts are like academic lego's. If you like a Burst you've taken and want more, go to the next one in a Burst Pathway or find a new Burst to take. All of your Bursts are able to stand alone or are "stackable," allowing the learner to follow interests and complete goals for things like digging deeper into Math as a 10-year-old or creating differentiation for the college admissions process as a teen.

Each Burst is standards-aligned and represents part of a complete education. At Colearn Academies, you can choose to assemble an entire year or many years' worth of Bursts. We support families in going beyond what is required in traditional school in an accredited, innovative, and intuitive way.
